I just have two problems with GrApple's delicious theme and tried to contact him about it. Unfortunately they were developed specially for mac so he can't help with windows.
So the problems are 2:
1) progress bar in downloads doesn't work
2) problem with Bookmarks panel items
since it uses stylish script I got these bugs -

Anyway, have you tried Grafire yet. still works with latest FF3 stable. Has no such issues like yours. I can't remember exactly the particular scripts for those (- will have to check) since I made all the fixes inside.
Regarding Delicious tabs, yeah. Easier to make a mod than muck around with the codes. Will send you a note later.

It is a windows version. also works under Linux/Ubuntu.
I have the same theme for Ubuntu jaunty, vista ultimate sp1, xp home sp3, xp pro sp3.
